Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I receintly responded to an accusation from a local Supervisor about our workers performing a "Work Slow Down". A couple of Mechanics in DFW heard the comment over a company radio and relayed the info to Barry who then sent an inquiring e-mail to his Managers. They are currently investigating the incident.

" I would agree I got several calls complaining about this the other night. Accusing the Union of a Work slow down is a very serious thing. People can get in VERY big trouble over such things happening. I almost called the International about this and let them deal with it at the highest level, but I changed my mind. I just want to make sure it never happens again.  

But with that being said, I have gotten to the point as President of Local 576, that someone’s stupidity is no reason for me to be nice. It has been the norm for when we mess up the hammer gets dropped. I shall, from this point, return the favor. So any false comments against us or what seems to be blatant disregard for our contract and local polices will be dealt with by us with all the power and resources we have."

Remember, if you hear of any accusations being made about our Brothers and Sisiters in regards to any kind of work action, contact me immediatly.
